How I Paid Off $27,000 in Credit Card Debt in Two Years

How I Paid Off $25,000 in Credit Card Debt in Two YearsBy Dana Burgess, as told to Gabrielle Karol

I live in Graham, Texas, with my husband and three children, who are 17, 14 and 9 years old. I work full-time at a public school as an "intervention" teacher, helping kids who need an extra push academically with reading and math.

When I first started racking up credit card debt, my husband was running two businesses, which we co-owned: a store that sold farm equipment and an auction company. The farm store wasn't doing so well at the time, so a lot of our money was going toward that business.

I had always been responsible for running the household, so when I didn't have the money for groceries, or for gas, I would just put it on my credit card. Lovitz's Latest Obama Slam: Clooney Fundraiser Reeked of Hypocrisy

14 hours ago 86 post a comment

Looks like Jon Lovitz is just warming up with his anti-Obama comments.

Lovitz, one of only a handful of celebrities willing to openly critique President Barack Obama, was at it again last night on Fox News' "Hannity."
The "Saturday Night Live" alum took aim at George Clooney's Obama fundraiser this time, calling the president hypocritical for trashing the rich while letting them line his campaign coffers.
"But what I find is he's hypocritical with saying the, you know, the one percent don't get us, and, you know, he's a multimillionaire now, you know, they're not paying their fair share of taxes, now I'm going over to George Clooney's house to get money from millionaires and billionaires, and he collected $15 million, and, you know, "Wall Street are the bad guys, but now I have to go to a dinner with Wall Street people to get money for my campaign."

At what point will the Obama administration, or its celebrity lackeys, start speaking out against Lovitz? So far, they've been silent. But the more times Lovitz appears in the media with a firm grasp of the issue and Obama's contradictions, the more likely a response of some kind will be considered.
